Spanish Teaching Assistant Wanted!

Location: Greenwich

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (until the end of the academic year, then continuing in September)

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Are you passionate about the Spanish language and eager to inspire young minds? Join our dynamic team at a leading Secondary School in Greenwich! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teaching Assistant to support our students and enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging Spanish lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, ensuring they grasp key concepts.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the class teacher with classroom management and lesson preparation.
  • Participate in school events and activities to promote language learning.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish, with a preference for native speakers.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • A valid DBS on the update service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passionate about education and committed to student success.
