£23,500 - £25,979 per annum (full time equivalent) Full time (36 hrs 40 mins per week)

Our Oldham school is a special education provision for students ages 11-18 years with learning and/or physical difficulties.

We currently have a vacancy for several resilient, energetic and highly motivated support workers to join our busy team. The main duties will be to help to meet the needs of our service users by providing a range of support within independent living, accessing employment opportunities and leisure activities. The level of support will be based on the individual needs, some of whom have challenging behaviours.

It is essential that applicants have previous experience of supporting disabled people in undertaking everyday tasks. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate that they are a proactive team member and have genuine empathy with service users who have a range of learning and physical needs. They must also have the physical resilience to be able to support those service users with mobility issues.

Salary: £23,500 - £25,979 per annum (full time / full year)

Hours of work: 36 hours 40 mins per week
