SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary school for September, for the full academic year.

The School

The school is based in Haringey borough, North London. This is an "outstanding" school with a very good leadership and dedicated team and is very popular locally. They are a Church of England school, which welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.

The school is on a regular bus route and about 15 minutes by bus from the nearest overground station. Some on-road parking is also available.

The Role

The Headteacher is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in class with pupils who will be going into Year 8. One student has a EHCP for Autism and is a very able child, who requires input to keep her focused through the day, but has good behaviour. The second student has ADHD and again, needs some additional support to stay on track and focused throughout the day. You will also be working as a general Teaching Assistant at times, when the usual pupils are working independently, whilst being on-hand in case these two need some additional support.

The salary for this SEN Teaching Assistant role will be £95 per day and the role is full time, term time only.
