An amazing Special Needs School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team in September 2025. This a school that supports students with SEMH and Autism. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching.
