SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 3 - Hillingdon

Start Date: September 2025
Location: Hillingdon, West London
Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Daily Rate: £95
Contract: September to Christmas (with potential to extend through the academic year)

The Role

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a well-organised, forward-thinking primary school in Hillingdon seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with autism on a one-to-one basis. The role starts in September 2025 and will initially run until Christmas, though there is a likelihood it will continue for the remainder of the year.

This is a full-time position, supporting the child both in class and during transitions, while helping them develop essential learning, communication, and social skills.

Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or additional needs

  • Familiarity with the Year 2 or Year 3 curriculum is advantageous

  • Calm, dependable, and able to provide clear and consistent support

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Able to follow guidance while using initiative when needed
