Specialist Biomedical Scientist Band 6

Location: Portsmouth

Start date- ASAP

End date- 3+ Months (Ongoing)

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday (Ideally full time but open to part time)
8.30 - 16.30

Skills/Experience:

- A minimum of 3 years post registration experience
- Current Registration as Biomedical Scientist with Health Professions Council
- BSc Biomedical Sciences or equivalent.
- To carry out investigations on samples of tissue to diagnose disease and monitor the treatment of patients.
- To work as part of a team of Biomedical Scientists, Consultant Histopathologists and support staff to deliver, within budget, a patient-orientated medical laboratory service to contribute to efficient and effective care.
