Location: Blackburn

This position is available for a band 6 biomedical scientist who specialises in cellular pathology

Start date: ASAP-6 month contract

Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00

Hours: Full time (37.5hrs/week)

Job description:

Performs a range of routine and specialist cellular pathology activities on cellular pathology specimens, troubleshooting as necessary
Maintains accurate clinical records in relation to activities carried out
Supervises and actively trains less experienced staff
Actively participates in Quality Management processes
