Service Care Solutions is seeking a passionate and dedicated Specialist Housing Advocate to join a dynamic team in Hammersmith. In this crucial role, you'll play a vital part in empowering women who have experienced domestic abuse by advocating for their safety and securing appropriate housing.

Who You Are:

  • A champion for women's rights with a deep understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. (Essential)
  • Experienced in supporting survivors, with a proven track record of risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis management. (Essential)
  • A resourceful problem-solver with excellent communication skills to navigate complex situations and build trust with clients. (Essential)

  • Committed to data collection, reporting, and upholding confidentiality. (Essential)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide face-to-face and telephone support, information, and advocacy to women experiencing domestic abuse with housing needs. (Essential)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand individual needs and risks, developing personalised safety and support plans. (Essential)
  • Collaborate with key partners like homelessness teams and local authorities to secure safe and secure housing. (Essential)
  • Proactively assess the safety of children involved and take appropriate safeguarding measures. (Essential)
  • Contribute to the overall success of the project through data analysis and reporting. (Essential)
