Specialist Lending Underwriter (Complex BTL / Bridging Finance)

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Property Finance Underwriter to join the specialist lending department of a highly successful property finance lender.

As a Specialist Property Finance Underwriter you will responsible underwriting high value loans (£2m+), large portfolio’s, complex ownership structures and quirky security cases.

Experience for the role of Property Finance Underwriter required:

• Minimum 5 years experience in an mortgage underwriting or credit risk analysis role - with experience of underwriting large loans, portfolios and complex cases.
• Experience of manual mortgage underwriting and hold a mandate
• Experience of BTL lending (Professional , Portfolio Lending, Ltd Company, HMO)
• Has experience working for a mortgage lender / property finance lender / private bank.
• Quick learner, ability to adapt and evolve.
• Self starter
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written
• Good time management skills
• IT literate: Competent MS Office skills and ability to adapt to internal systems.
• Ambitious, proactive, and hungry to progress within the company

Up to £80k Basic + Bonus + Benefits (Dependent on experience)
