Area to be covered: M4 Corridor

Remuneration: Competitive + Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Acoustic Suspended Ceilings will involve:

• Field sales role selling a manufactured range of acoustic suspended ceilings and acoustic wall solutions
• Targeting predominantly retail, education, leisure and office buildings
• Specification selling with architects, other specifiers, interior designers and end users
• Working in a buddy system with a commercial manager responsible for managing main contractors, distributors and specialist suspended ceiling installers / ceiling contractors
• Inheriting an area only available due to a promotion, currently achieving circa £2.6m
• Predominantly a new business development role, but there will be a small existing project bank to manage
• Carry out typically 1-2 CPD presentations per month
• Project sizes from £25,000 up to £1m, with an average project value of circa £50,000- £75,000
• Following up on glenigan leads
• Attending all relevant specifier exhibitions

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Acoustic Suspended Ceilings with:

• Must have a proven field sales track record selling interior building products
• Experienced in generating specification sales via architects and or designers A&D
• Strong CPD presentation skills preferred but not essential
• Acoustic interior product knowldhe may be useful
• Open to other building products with strong architectural specification sales experience
• Commercially aware with strong business acumen
• Committed and extremely driven, with a high energy level
