Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop customized therapy plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to enhance clients' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Educate clients and families on effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with industry standards.
  • Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in speech pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (we will assist you with this process).
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and client-centered care approach.
  • Proficiency in assessment and therapy tools, including AAC.
