Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team in Oldham. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles among our students. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire young people and help them develop their skills, confidence, and love for sports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate a range of sports and physical activities for students of varying ages and abilities.
• Provide high-quality coaching sessions, ensuring all students are engaged, challenged, and supported.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
• Identify and nurture talent, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
• Organize and oversee extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to integrate physical activity into the broader curriculum.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during sports activities.
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to students, parents, and staff.

Requirements:

• Relevant coaching qualifications (Level 2 Coaching Certificate).
• Previous experience working as a sports coach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young people.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
