Position: Sports Graduate

Location: Leeds, UK

Hours: Full-time, 08:30 am - 03:30 pm

Salary: £80-£95 per day

As a Sports Graduate in our SEN Provision, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to work closely with both Primary and Secondary aged students, utilizing your passion for sports to support their physical, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging sports and physical activities tailored to the needs and abilities of students with SEN.
  • Support students in developing their motor skills, coordination, and confidence through sports and physical exercises.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to participate.
  • Collaborate with SEN teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students, promoting teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
  • Passion for working with young individuals with SEN and SEMH.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach.
