Sports Kit Operational Executive

Operational support in relation to sports kit is required for a six-month period. This is a newly created temporary role to work for a Women’s performance team and requiring 4 days a week, 28 hours (Monday - Friday, some flexibility needed to drop the kit off at weekends particularly in the Summer between May and August). This is an initial temporary role paying £12.08 -£13.73 per hour plus holiday pay (equivalent of £17,600 - £20,000 for 4 days a week, up to £25k pro-rata).

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate some previous hands-on logistics experience and to have a driving license. Someone who is proactive and self-sufficient as well as being able to work collaboratively within a team. A DBS check will be needed.

Duties:
· Kit ordering, picking, printing and delivery.
· Overseeing the management of playing and training wear for players and staff across the organisation.
· Manage the whole kit cycle from design to ordering 12-month blocks through to ordering per squad
· Manage the shirts being printed with a third-party company ensuring every shirt has the correct detail and is printed before the relevant match.
· Manage the kit storage to ensure items are delivered from the supplier to keep a sufficient quantity.
· Pick, pack and deliver all training kits for players and staff.
· Deliver kit to players' houses.
· Work with the commercial team to ensure correct sponsors are displayed at all times
· Join the team for the training days at the start of a series to ensure all kit fits correctly and enact any changes
· Place formalwear orders from sponsors as required
· Manage the transport of all England team bags and players' bags for the home series between the ground and hotel.
· Organise freight going to overseas tours
· Create baggage manifests for any kit being sent overseas
· Order player's helmets and deliver with their kit bags
· Order coaching equipment as needed by the coaching team
· Work with suppliers to create bespoke equipment for the team's needs.
