Position: Sprinkler Design Engineer

Location:Barnstable

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £35,000 to £70,000 subject to experience level, 20 days holiday, Pension, Laptops and Phones provided, flexi - hours, car allowance £5000.

We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Designer for a full time, permanent position within a very well-established company with offices based in Barnstable.

This position will be dealing with the full design of commercial and residential sprinkler systems for refurbishment and new build projects on sites that include, hospitals, schools, airports and shops.

The right person for this position will have a basic design course certification and a strong understanding of Sprinkler regulations in line with BS EN 12845 and BS 9251

They will need an understanding of how to use 2D and 3D CAD design systems, Revit would also be beneficial.

This is a remote position but they must be willing to travel into the office once a month.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer/ Person
  • Must have a basic design course qualification.
  • It would be a major advantage if this person has worked on refurb and new build projects.
  • LPCB competency course would be a major benefit
  • CAD or Revit experience
  • Based in a commutable distance to Barnstable.
  • Must be willing to go to the office 1 day a week.
  • Strong understanding of the BS EN 12845 and BS 9251regulations.
