Job Description
We are looking for a skilled SQL Web Application Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transitioning and enhancing our extensive bespoke systems, which include functionalities in booking, HR, payroll, and accounting, previously operated on Microsoft Access and VBA, to a new SQL Server-based web platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and release web pages and applications predominantly using T-SQL via the in-house SQLPage platform on both cloud-based and on-prem SQL Server applications.
- Migrate and enhance legacy VBA code to SQLPage applications.
- Maintain and upgrade existing applications to boost functionality and user experience.
- Address bugs and issues as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript, with a good understanding of VBA.
- Experience with legacy systems, especially VBA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Personal Characteristics:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter, capable of working autonomously and collaboratively in a small team setting.
