A well-established client located in Hartlepool has an exciting new opportunity for a Stock and Pricing Analyst to join their team.

We seek individuals who are highly numerate and analytical, possessing a sharp ability to evaluate costs. This role is ideal for someone with a commercial mindset, capable of proposing solutions and adapting to diverse situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Procurement Director to evaluate current stock & contract positions against market prices
  • Conducting stock reconciliations for multiple locations
  • Assisting in preparatory work for ISO 9001 & 14001 audits
  • Reconciling stock lines against ledger postings and producing pre-pay and accrual reports
  • Making commercial recommendations regarding pricing based on available information
  • Implementing procurement best practices to maximise savings
  • Producing Management Information reports as required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Desirable: CIPS Level 3 or above/AAT Level 4 or above, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Advantageous: Experience in Power BI or other data software
  • Preferable but not essential: Experience in a supply/stock management role
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job details:

Location: Hartlepool
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Salary: Negotiable
Holidays: 25 days + Statutory Bank Holidays
Study Support: Fully funded support offered after successful completion of Probationary Period
