Stock Assistant

Our client, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis to join their growing organization based in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative

• Receive and inspect incoming stock and supplies for quality and quantity.
• Update inventory records using appropriate systems and software.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels and reorder points.
• Ensure that the Workshop is always clean and tidy, and that waste packaging is removed and disposed of safely and in line with health and safety guidance

Key Experience for the Warehouse Operative

• Experience of working in either a warehouse or stores or stock assistant would be beneficial
• The role will involve lifting and moving heavy goods
• Forklift licence desirable, if not training provided
