Zenith People are working with our client operating within the agricultural machinery industry, who are looking to recruit an experienced Store person to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced storeperson having previously worked in a machining environment, managing, organising and safekeeping of inventory goods.

STORE PERSON
MORPETH
SALARY - £28,000 - £30,000 PER ANNUM
DAY SHIFT 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an individual to look after the spare parts and stock control within the business including:

  • Managing spare parts sales - preparation and packaging for delivery
  • Maintaining the stock levels within our stock management software
  • Maintaining the organisation and storage of stock in the workshops
  • Managing the parts allocated to servicing work and manufacturing projects in order to accurately charge out work
  • Entering data to the software to help manage and cost manufactured parts
  • Maintaining records of serial numbered machinery and parts

Person specification:

  • Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work methodically and quickly
  • Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
  • Ability to stand on their feet for long hours
  • Ability to lift heavy items
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
