Store Person/Driver

• Salary: £13.18 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Store Person/Driver with a C1 license to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing inventory, handling deliveries, and ensuring efficient stock management. Your driving skills and meticulous attention to detail will be key to the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Day to day of the role:

• Receive, inspect, and organise incoming goods, maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
• Assist with stocktaking and periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate company vehicles safely to deliver goods to customers or other locations, adhering to delivery schedules.
• Handle the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring the safety and integrity of goods.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Complete necessary delivery logs, receipts, and other documentation, maintaining meticulous records of vehicle maintenance and inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid C1 driving license.
• Fork Lift License.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or a driving role is highly beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
