Personnel Selection is seeking a skilled Stores Operative to work for one of our local electronics manufacturers. You will be joining a fantastic established team and a company that values people with a passion for career progression.

As the Stores Operative you will be managing the storage and safekeeping of all goods, checking all goods for damage and storing them appropriately. You will also be accountable for the movement of goods and responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and team-work.

Working hours will be Monday - Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday: 08:30 – 15:30

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • A previous proven loyal work history.
  • Previous experience of working in Stores within a manufacturing / electronics / engineering environment is desirable
  • A positive can do attitude.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Previous stores paperwork experience.
  • Abble to work tightly to company KPIs.
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English and Maths
  • Strong computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of MRP Systems and experience in utilizing these would be preferred
  • Understanding of basic stores operations, such as FIFO is desirable
