Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Stores and Goods In Operative to support the Stores Supervisor. This role provides second line leadership for the team when the Supervisor is not available or on leave.

Permanent
Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
40 hrs per week
GBP27k - GBP30k per annum

Duties of the Stores and Goods In Operative:

· Supporting the Supervisor in improvement and supervision of stores systems and processes in line with quality procedures.
· Supporting the Supervisor in improvement and supervision of supplier consignment stocks.
· Support and maintenance in perpetual inventory checks, including consignment stocks
· Support in the supervision of repetitive stock items on production floor, ensuring stock levels are maintained to efficient quantities
· Ensuring all WOs are kitted accurately, on time and as desired by production schedules
· Attending production meetings in the absence of the Stores Supervisor to ensure all scheduling plans are understood and worked to
· Ensuring all deliveries are booked in line with quality procedures
· Supporting the implementation of best practices in stores management controls
· Support the Stores Supervisor in leadership of stores staff
· Supporting other leadership members with daily requests.
· Leadership and support in the promotion of an efficient, tidy and safe working environment.
· Responsibility for continued personal development.

Skills required for the Stores and Goods In Operative:

- Strong administrator
- Well organised
- Multitasking skills
- Competent communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft packages
- Self-motivated
- Good attention to detail
