Stores Assistant needed in Leicester £11.98ph ref 359661

 (12 months temporary). 07:30 – 15:30 hrs Mon to Thur. 07:30 – 15:00 Friday. When cover is needed to accommodate leave then the Friday will be 08:00 – 15:30 hrs. Umbrella rate: £15.38

To be physically able to move/pick up large/heavy boxes

Assist with the supply of uniform and equipment for internal staff including fittings and reutilisation of uniform, general stores and post room duties and receiving deliveries. Ability to use computerised systems including excel to input, search and retrieve data. Provide advice to internal customers regarding uniform and scale of issue in person, on the phone and via email. Previous Stores experience is essential. To be physically able to move/pick up large/heavy boxes using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as trollies.

You will be required to hold a full UK driving license for this role, as we have now taken over additional storage at a location approximately two miles away and one of the requirements will be that the supplies assistant will need to drive a van to and from that location to collect stock when required.
