Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Stores Operative to join their engineering team in Fareham. This contract role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and organisation of the onsite stores, playing a vital part within the Goods In department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing kits/components for the production team
  • Following instructions for picking and Packing items for distribution to production
  • Organising and maintaining the stores and physical stocks
  • Ensuring parts are correctly stored and issued to avoid damage
  • Following all Health & Safety guidelines
  • Inputting data information into computers
  • Multi-drop local delivery driving
Job Requirements:
  • Experience working within a manufacturing stores environment
  • Kitting or picking and packing experience essential
  • High level of attention to detail
  • PC literate
  • Ability to carry out stock checks
  • Ability to read and follow instructions for picking and packing
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence as will need to make deliveries from time to time
