GTS Transportation, a leading recruitment agency in the transportation sector, is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Stores Person for our client based in Warwick. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a background in automotive stores management to join a dynamic team on a rolling 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain inventory of automotive parts and supplies.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of parts to various departments.
  • Organise and maintain the store area for efficient operations.
  • Handle stock checks and inventory audits.
  • Liaise with suppliers and handle purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an automotive stores or similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
