As Stores Supervisor, you’ll oversee the provision, control and accounting procedures for the Store, as well as supervising and motivating the team.

In this role, you'll champion safety as you ensure the adoption of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures, as well as always promoting safe working practices. Your interpersonal skills will come into use as you communicate with internal and external customers regarding stores information requests, alongside this you will also assist with audits and inspections of the stores function throughout the year. In addition to this, you will regularly review service delivery and identify areas for improvement, as well as utilising customer feedback to improve the service. You’ll manage the warehouse effectively using the current system, as well as supervising the team by assisting them with HR related matters, informing about new practices and supporting team members with continuous learning.

You must have the ability to achieve a full SC clearance and hold a supervisory qualification. Being proficient in the application of MJDI and a IOSH Managing Safely certificate is also essential.

In addition to the above, being proficient in the use of the current MoD warehouse management systems is a must, as well as experience working within an MoD stores environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package is also essential for this role.
