As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll drive medical sales of medical imaging equipment into hospitals across Wales for this global market leader.

  • As the commercial lead for Wales, you'll initiate medical sales of award-winning, premium brand radiology equipment including MRI, CT and X-ray-based diagnostic imaging systems which deliver significant gains in patient diagnoses, clinical workflow and financial performance.
  • As the key contact for accounts, and responsible for service delivery too, this is a very visible and dynamic position creating meaningful relationships for long-term success and aligned to NHS Wales National Imaging Strategic Programme.
  • Identify and engage customers at all levels within the NHS Wales Health Boards/NHS Wales Trusts (and 4 NHS England accounts close to the Welsh border). Understand their priorities and share compelling value propositions that energise customers and illustrate significant improvements in patient outcomes and workflow. In a matrix organisation, you'll lead / be supported by a team of product Sales Specialists and Application Specialists who focus on the end users and provide equipment demos and customer training.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven, consistent success in leading complex, capital medical sales projects with multiple / senior healthcare stakeholders; understanding NHS Wales Health Boards / NHS Wales Trusts including Public Health Wales strategies and aligning this to a product solution.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, commercial acumen and determination to create and implement winning business plans, lead project teams and close sales to achieve outstanding results. A background in radiology or medical imaging medical sales is preferred but not essential.
  • Suitable South Wales locations include Cardiff, Swansea and Newport however people in mid or North Wales, or living in England close to the border, will happily be considered.

PACKAGE

  • Salary guide: £58-68,000 + £30,000 OTE, company car and excellent benefits.
