The Strategic Buyer collaborates with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials and components, while also driving supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Description

• To issue and monitor RFP's to suppliers.
• Setup supplier data within the business ERP system.
• Using MRP data to raise necessary PO's
• Review and selection of suppliers based on proposals/quotations received.
• To develop relationships with suppliers.
• To manage purchasing projects
• To manage supplier Long Term Agreements.

Profile

• At least 1 years experience as a buyer within a Manufacturing environment
• Problem solving skills
• Understand engineering drawings
• CIPS qualification
• Knowledge of Strategic purchasing
