A well reputed and versatile Civil Engineering Contractor has an exciting opportunity for a Streetworks Supervisor to join their reinstatement business unit to work across Reading / Swindon and the M4 Corridor.

As an organisation they are a market leader within reinstatement and resurfacing service which includes the completion and repair of roads and footways mainly in the Gas, Water and Power Utility Sectors.

Supporting the Project Manager you will be comfortable with working in challenging environments on both public highways.

Due to the nature of the projects its essential that you will hold a valid Streetworks Ticket and SMSTS.

Key Responsibilities.
  • Maximise production and monitor quality of work in progress.
  •  Maintain a good working relationship and close liaison with clients and the public.
  • Complete Defect and Interim’s
  • Dealing with health, safety and environment issues.
  • Manage company vehicles plant and equipment.
  • Deal with customer care issues promptly.
  • Monitor Driving Performance and Vehicle checks
  • Ensure high standard of work is maintained from the Reinstatement Teams
  •  Complete Site Audits
  • Order Materials for reinstatement teams.

To be successful in the role, you will hold knowledge of the electricity network, including cable laying and reinstatement. You will also hold NRSWA Supervisory qualification and a Full Driving Licence as sites cover the South West of England.
