We are seeking Streetmason Improvers to join Leicester City County Highways team. This role is essential in supporting the construction and maintenance of our city’s highways. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated individual with a passion for infrastructure development and a drive to maintain high standards of public works.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in a variety of highway construction and maintenance tasks.
- Operate machinery and tools required for construction and repair works.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in construction, masonry, or related field is advantageous.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
