We are looking for an Administrator based in Aldershot, reporting to the Streetworks Team Leader.

The Streetworks Team provides a vital "Front Office" facility between the Highway Authorities and Southern Networks Depots, ensuring work is carried out in line with NRSWA legislation and Traffic Management Act Requirements.

I help to keep people safe and warm by…

  • Raising permits
  • Submitting reinstatement
  • Registering jobs
  • Monitoring daily reports
  • Liaising with Team Managers regarding outstanding jobs

What you’ll need

The applicant must be able to work in an environment where tasks are to be completed on tight timescales to avoid company fines, they would need to be able to assess workload and complete the workload according to importance and timescales dictated by New Roads & Streetworks legislation. They must be able to multi-task. They would be using internal computer systems for which they will be given full training. They must be confident on the phone as they would need to liaise with Local Authorities, contractors and other SGN departments. They must be proficient in excel.
