An excellent opportunity is on offer for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a rapidly expanding company in a varied and autonomous role where you will get the chance to technically develop your skills.
Are you a Senior Engineer with experience working with building structures? Are you looking to work for a growing company who have a reputation for looking after their staff?

Established a couple of decades ago, this company are a design led consultancy who specialise in structural and civil design. The business are experiencing very high demand and have grown massively year on year. They are now recruiting an experienced senior engineer to help cope with the increased workload and to be succession planned to lead the maintenance department.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing structural calculations, deliver projects, arranging testing of products where necessary, design and prepare production drawings and technical data A lot of the work will be done independently and you will be given a good amount of freedom in your work provided the necessary works are completed.

The ideal candidate would therefore be a senior engineer who is looking to become chartered with a background in specifically building structures who has experience using Tedds, Revit and Tekla. The role would suit someone who is looking to work for a growing company in a varied and independent role where progression is guaranteed.

• Deal with technical enquiries from internal and external customers
• Prepare structural calculations
• Liaise with suppliers regarding technical matters
• Technical presentations

The person:-

• Degree in Structural Engineering
• Willing to work towards becoming chartered
• Background in Building Structures
• Commutable to Leicester
