Prospero Teaching is looking for a student Teaching Assistant to support students in a Secondary SEMH school in Hulme, Manchester.
The school is for students in Keys Stages 3 and 4 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) diagnosed as having Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
The position is open to student who have recently finished, sixth form, college or recently graduated from university or sixth form college.
Ideally you will have a background or have studied in the following areas; health & social care, psychology, youth work, sports coaching.
If you have done placements as part of your course in a formal setting, or have supported students, or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults paid or unpaid, wed love to hear from you.
Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
Located within inner city Manchester just a 10 minute walk from Deansgate Train station, or Cornbrook tram stop, the school is easily accessed by public transport and also has onsite parking available.
