An exciting opportunity to join a Loss Adjusting company working within the Surveying team providing building claims solutions on a nationwide basis. They are now seeking an experienced desk-based subsidence claims technician to join their technical buildings repair team where you will provide technical support to a team of Surveyors and the Claims Management team.

Key responsibilities:

  • To offer technical support to the surveyors and case management team in respect of managing variations in repair scopes
  • Assessing contractor estimates
  • Controlling repair schedules and costs from panel contractors
  • Assist with the management of the field force surveyors and to handle a case load of desktop validation claims under delegated authority

About you:

  • Experience of handling technical aspects of the subsidence buildings repair stage
  • Buildings/Property claims handling experience with knowledge of scopes of works
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to manage own caseload and feel comfortable challenging decisions made
  • Excellent IT/systems experience
  • BDMA or relevant Industry qualification would be preferred.

Salary and Benefits

Desk-based Building Technician - Remote working - up to £30k per annum, 25 days holiday plus an excellent benefits package, company bonus scheme, training and career advancement.
