In this Substance Misuse Practitioner opportunity in Stafford , you will join a reputable organisation who support service users with issues related to drugs and alcohol.

Key responsibilities

In this Substance Misuse Practitioner role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a case load of 40 - 60 service users & liaising with multi agency teams including family members as appropriate.
  • Coordinate reduction and detoxification plans with service users
  • Promote Involvement In the service users recovery plan by family members, carers and the Individual
  • Lead on Recovery planning , Risk assessments, Safeguarding and on going assessments.

Skills & experience

  • Proven track record of working with service users In recovery or similar roles.
  • Experience of assessing service users needs and developing Individual, goal focused action plans
  • Drivers license & access to own vehicle.
