Job Title: Summer Pricing Intern

Location: Homebased with some travel to London Office

Duration: 8 weeks

Salary: £13.15 per hour

We are working in partnership with The AA, the UK's largest motoring organisation, who are looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our 8-week summer internship programme working mostly at home with occasional travel into our Southwark Street office in London.

As a Pricing Intern with The AA, you will be assisting the Roadside Pricing team on a variety of projects from data enhancements for pricing models, to report creation and analysis. As the largest breakdown cover organisation in the UK, this will be a great opportunity to develop your data processing skills and build a sound understanding of market leading insurance pricing processes.

What a day as a Pricing Intern entails:

  • Support with the enhancement of enrichment data and testing of new data sources for pricing models
  • Assist the Pricing Managers and Analysts with data processing and report creation
  • Develop your understanding of Roadside pricing to support projects that deliver best-practice pricing

What we're looking out for:

  • High academic achiever in progress of a Graduate Degree level or above in numerical subject
  • An interest in pricing and numbers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driven individual, with the passion and energy to continually improve the business
