Pay: £38,000-£40,000

NonStop's client, based in the South West, is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their independent fostering agency on a permanent basis.

They are a therapeutic agency with a child centred approach This holistic approach ensures that you can provide the highest standard of care and support leaving you with better job satisfaction knowing you will be making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Along with this, the position offers the unique benefit of working from the comfort of your own home. With travel only required to visit foster carers and occasional meetings, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, support, and train foster carers
  • Manage a caseload in the Somerset area
  • Build lasting and positive relationships in order to provide the best outcome for children

Requirements:

  • Registration with Social work England (SWE)
  • Driver
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining.
  • Experience working within the Social Care sector, preferably in fostering
