Repairs Supervisor

Salary - £23.88 per hour PAYE // £29.38 per hour Ltd Umbrella 

Location - EN1 

Full time role to start ASAP 

We are seeking a Repairs Supervisor to lead a team of high-performing operatives, ensuring the delivery of exceptional work quality and efficient use of materials. This role involves complex diagnostics and coordinating multi-trade repair projects, including major leaks affecting multiple properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficient skills across various trades and have a strong focus on health and safety compliance.

Day to day of the role:
  • Oversee and ensure high standards of repairs and maintenance work quality.
  • Conduct complex diagnostics and coordinate multi-trade repair projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and conduct one-to-one meetings with operatives.
  • Perform pre and post inspections on tenanted properties.
  • Manage the void team to ensure properties are ready within the set timescales.
  • Attend evening Tenant Association meetings and respond to both internal and external customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all work activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor or in a similar role within the repairs and maintenance sector.
  • Proficient level skills and experience across a range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, decorating, plastering, and tiling.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
