Supplier Relationship Manager

Duration - 4-5 months

Pay - £350-£400 per day

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising relationships with our suppliers to ensure that we receive the best value and service. This role requires a combination of contract management, negotiation skills, and the ability to monitor and drive supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Supplier Performance Management:
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance supplier performance and value delivery.
• Contract Management:
  • Oversee the administration and negotiation of supplier contracts.
  • Ensure all contracts are in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and renew contracts to meet changing business needs.
• Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the organisation and suppliers.
  • Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
• Value Optimisation:
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancements through effective supplier management.
  • Work closely with procurement and other relevant departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Leverage supplier capabilities to drive innovation and operational efficiencies.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, and supplier performance management.
  • Previous experience in procurement, particularly within the public sector or banking, is highly desirable.
