The Company
Our Client is a market leading leading service provider with a global presence. They are recruiting a Supplier Risk Manager - hybrid working in the Newcastle area

The Role
As a Supplier Risk Manager, you will play a crucial role in tracking, managing and mitigating potential risks associated with the Client's key supplier partners, working alongside Procurement.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and implementing supplier onboarding/supplier risk management strategies
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders - collaborating with/providing advice, guidance and training to cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with procurement best practice and supplier assurance polices and procedures
  • Facilitating the implementation of the Clients SRM framework - monitoring supplier performance and identifying areas for improvement/potential risk
  • Regular review of supplier portfolio/-status to ensure that the correct SRM/assurance process is applied, relevant to their criticality 

About You
The successful Supplier Risk Manager will have/be
  • Proven track record in supplier risk - comprehensive understanding of various areas of risk, having previously implemented supplier risk management policies and strategy
  • Experienced in contract management, supplier assurance and management
  • Experience of having worked in a similar, global, multi-regional organisation
  • Detailed knowledge of Procurement/risk management best practice and -systems and associated regulations
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
