Supply Chain Analyst – Manufacturing

Cannock – 3 days in office, 2 WFH

£28-33k per annum

Hours: 8.30am till 5pm – flex around start/finish times

Do you have strong analytical skills and the ability to use MS Excel? Are you experienced in planning, supply chain and inventory management?

I’m supporting a manufacturing business based in Cannock to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst. You’d be joining an industry-leading business at a time where they’re ramping up on investment, so it’s an exciting time in the company’s history.

You’ll be based out of their Cannock office – 3 days typically spent onsite, the other 2 WFH.

Day to day you’ll be involved in:

  • Developing and implementing S&OP strategies.
  • Review and analyse sales demand to better understand opportunities and trends in the market.
  • Manage availability and lead times to improve OTIF performance.
  • Improving the ERP system to increase forecast accuracy.
  • Create reports and make recommendations based on analysis and data extraction.
  • Liaise and communicate with various departments internally, including sales and operations.

You’ll need to be/have:

  • Strong analytical skills and confidence using MS Excel
  • Experience in a planning/supply chain function
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a data/evidence-based approach
