Zenith People are looking to recruit Supply Chain Coordinator for its client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role is to act as the Operational point of contact between the Commercial and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to gather information for demand planning.
  • Maintain inventory parameters to optimise inventory requirements which will guide Purchasing to ensure the right replenishment plans are followed.
  • Proactive tracking of actions to reduce Alarm Stock
  • Support in the the development and continuous improvement of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) chain & logistics team to update forecast
  • Execute and follow up on purchase orders based on the agreed demand requirements. Ensure timely creation, submission and follow up of internal purchase orders for products delivered by intercompany partners as well as purchase orders for products delivered by external suppliers.
  • Provide inputs in supply review meetings with Supply Planners of the manufacturing sites to ensure supply can meet demand.
  • Provide insights and suggestions for Product Portfolio Optimisation and classification.
  • Organise appropriate logistics for supply of materials to local inventory and/or customers.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or equivalent
  • Experience in Demand Planning
  • Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-national environment.
  • ERP experience, D365 would be an advantage
