The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Focused Supply Chain Implant to join the team, to enable th comany to maximise sales for the company portfolio of Branded and Customer Brand SKU's within Morrisons estate.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders within the company and Morrisons in a skilful and professional manner to interrogate systems and data to make informed decisions and interventions to maximise sales opportunities and availability of company produced products in Morrisons stores.

This role will be based in Morrisons Head Office in Bradford with an element of hybrid working. Working with company and Morrisons Supply Chain Teams.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive availability & waste through use of Morrisons replenishment and reporting systems
  • Maximise availability of all company lines to target level whilst ensuring waste remains within target levels.
  • Escalate issues affecting the availability or supply of product to Morrisons
  • Maximise sales opportunities by identifying lost sales opportunities and in conjunction with relevant Morrisons category team implement actions to close gaps.
  • Review demand forecasts, managing forecast accuracy and stock allocations as required - share forecast changes with company demand planning team to maximise short and medium term forecast accuracy.
  • Book, attend and cascade range and personal performance meetings with Senior Category Demand Planner.
  • Quarterly reviews with line manager and the Morrisons Supply Chain Category Demand Manager to ensure alignment on forward focus areas
  • Promotional, seasonal and event management
  • Consult on, and orchestrate additional value adding activity with the agreement of the Morrisons Supply Chain Category Demand Manager

The ideal candidate will be one that is passionate not only about the work they do but the brand they work for, takes ownership of what they do, and is able to influence multiple stakeholders in the right way.

Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:

Essential:

  • Educated to A-Level standard.
  • Computer literate and accurate in data capturing
  • Exceptional grammar and letter writing skills.
  • Ability to develop great relationships at all levels.
  • At least 2 years of experience in working at this level in FMCG.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to drive change.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of retail metrics including demand, waste & availability.
  • Experience in data management and analysis using Excel (or similar).
  • Experience in influencing and driving stakeholders to deliver change.
