Supply Chain Manager | Fast Growth Health & Wellness Brand | Cambridge /Hybrid

Harmonic Operations is excited to be working with one of the most innovative health and wellness brands in the industry on the hire of a Supply Chain Manager to join the team. They are using premium ingredients in a new and innovative way to create products that have a positive effect on consumer health and well-being.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end operations for a line of products designed to enhance vitality, support overall well-being, and empower individuals to achieve their health goals. Role:

As the #1 position in Supply Chain / Operations working directly with the Founder and wider Leadership team, the Supply Chain Manager will be integral in driving commercial insight and performance.

With ownership of the entire Supply Chain function the key value add will be in building out processes and systems to support improved decision making and growth. Until now the company Founder has managed the supply chain so this role will look to early on to take full autonomy for the function.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the founder to build out the operational strategy of the business and actively look to improve processes and systems
  • Management of the current end-to-end supply chain from working with the 3rd party manufacturer as well as managing
  • Working alongside suppliers in building out robust relationships and partnerships ensuring that the business is working towards the best commercial success
  • Working to identify key areas for improvements and management of the KPIs
  • Management of 3PL
  • Partnering with finance on management of budgets and supporting with insight to help drive commercial performance. Equally working with the Sales and Commercial teams to ensure that there is sufficient stock for example.
  • Working on the planning of NPD - the founder has some exciting new skews that they want to explore as they grow so this position would work to deliver on these. This would also include product launches.

What our client would like to see:

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work with a start-up / SME
  • Broad skillset in being able to manage the end-to-end supply chain
  • Confident communication style
  • Experience in working with grocery retails (Tesco / Asda / Sainsburys / Morrisons etc)

What we would like to see (not essential):

  • International or global supply chain experience
  • Prior experience with food or drinks brands would be beneficial

Salary: Up to £45k-£50k + Benefits + hybrid working
