Supply Chain Manager - £30,000-£40,000 - Bolton

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the team at my client based in the Bolton area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our local site operational and logistics teams to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

SAP and team management experience ESSENTIAL

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the UK Supply Chain Manager and wider SCH team to align and improve processes

- Oversee Operations/Logistics system processes and day-to-day activities at the local site

- Serve as the subject matter expert for all system and process related topics

- Support key users in process and systems

- Optimise and align system and process in the local site in collaboration with the UK Supply Chain Manager

- Maintain and report on data in accordance with KPIs, perform analysis, and identify opportunities for improvement

Candidates should have a relevant degree or equivalent experience. It is desirable to have experience with 6 Sigma and essential to have a good level of SAP (or similar ERP) system knowledge and implementation experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience working at a leadership/management level within the Supply Chain field, possess good organisational and forward planning skills, and have experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving.
