Supply Chain Manager

Horsham - Supply Chain Manager - £40k-£60k - Clean Energy

Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading provider of clean energy solutions who service a multitude of industries. They are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. You will take ownership of a small, high-performing team, with responsibility for the sourcing and procurement of strategic goods.

Main Duties:

+ Acting as the most senior tactical subject matter expert for procurement responsibility

+ Providing advice to the business on how to best balance commercial supply arrangements

+ Developing a comprehensive work plan for the advancement of P&SC policies

+ Line management responsibility for the Supply Chain Analyst

+ Acting as a point of escalation for global trade compliance and logistics issues

Key skills:

+ Relevant degree or MCIPS (working towards, or willingness to achieve)

+ Several years’ experience in a procurement role

+ Experience managing purchasing, suppliers, contracts and stakeholders

+ Evidence of successfully implemented change through developing procurement strategies

+ Global trade and compliance knowledge

Salary/Location:

+ The salary/package is circa £40k-£60k for this position

+ The role is based in Horsham, however there are hybrid working options available
