We're looking for a Supply Planner with a strong background in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing procurement and supply chain operations to ensure a smooth flow of goods.

Description

  • Forecast levels of demand for services and products to meet business needs
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to implement the company's overall procurement strategy
  • Conduct market research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality
  • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant internal departments
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks in the supply chain process
  • Continuously improve procurement processes
  • Identify and propose solutions for operational issues in the supply chain

Profile

A successful Supply Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in the FMCG industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasive skills
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and manipulate complex data
  • Good working knowledge of procurement and supply chain software systems
