With them looking for flexible and motivated supply teachers to cover various subjects across the secondary school curriculum. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing the classroom effectively, and ensuring that students continue to learn and progress in the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own when necessary.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and any issues encountered during lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to support student learning and school initiatives.

Qualifications for a Supply Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
