Full Time 37.5 Hours

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Support Services Manager to lead the delivery of non-clinical services across two of our hospitals - Buckshaw & Euxton Hall. This role is integral to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate will oversee

housekeeping & catering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the support services team to ensure the smooth running of all non-clinical operational services.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, infection control, food hygiene, and other regulatory standards.

  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, catering, and facilities in line with Ramsay Health Care UK policies.

  • Manage departmental budgets, staff rotas, and service contracts effectively.

  • Conduct audits and quality checks regularly and implement improvement plans as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams to support patient care through excellent service provision.

  • Recruit, train, and appraise support services staff, fostering a culture of accountability and customer service.

  • Lead on sustainability and environmental initiatives in line with corporate objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities or support services management, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC, COSHH, HACCP).

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with budgeting, rota planning, and supplier management.
