Support Worker: Female Safehouses
 
LOCATION:             South Glouc
HOURS:                   Mon-Fri 9-5
SALARY:                 £14.58 Inclusive PAYE or £16.08 Umbrella
DURATION:             2 months+ TEMP

Are you passionate about providing support and creating a safe environment for women in need? Our client is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join their team working within Female Safe Houses. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in empowering and uplifting women facing challenging circumstances and contributing to positive change in their lives.   • Empower and support women in a safe house setting
  • Provide high quality accommodation and housing related support to women who have experienced domestic abuse
  • Contribute to positive change in the lives of women in need
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience in providing support or care in a similar environment
  • Strong understanding of issues related to domestic abuse and violence against women
  • Ability to handle sensitive and challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to promoting equality and diversity
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Training in safeguarding vulnerable adults
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care
